The day before the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! It's the perfect time for our final STEM Quick Fire challenge of the year.
The Task: design and build a wind chime that can be heard from 2 meters away.
Even on the last days of school, students gave it their all!

Two of my students participated in the city-wide Money Fair competition at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. This event was sponsored by BMO Harris Bank and the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education in celebration of Money Smart Week. My students had a great time, the organizers sent chauffered transportation to the school to pick us up--what a great experience for my students to mix and mingle with other students from all over Chicago. Students presented their projects to financial industry professionals... I was extremely proud of all the students that participated.
